I fixed some bugs of EILiS 0.1 version and 0.2 is more organized. I'll change EILiS's schedule because is impossible you've SQUID without Internet connection shared. I changed positions of services on next EILiS's releases. Look:
(november's 3th week) 1.0 version: SAMBA, DHCP, SSH, FTP, DNS, IPTABLES, SQUID, WEB and Users/System Administration

Thanks God, family, friends,...., everybody that helped me with this version. I still have a long way to run and "EILiS 0.1 version" is the first step. I hope to use "dialog" software to next version of EILiS.

FISL 11. Cold and Cool. I was in FISL 11 at Porto Alegre (RS-Brazil). I had a talk and it was a success. You can see some photos from my cell phone!
I could't finish EILiS 0.1 version, but I promess that next week (first week of August) the release will happen.
EILiS, preview of 0.1 version!
Hi! I'm finishing the version 0.1 of EILiS and selecting the mascot. Well, I stoped development for a long time, because my job and university. Now, I'm holiday (vacation) and I did write the first parte of 0.1 version, SAMBA. I want to finish DHCP and SSH until FISL 11 (http://fisl.softwarelivre.org) 24/07/2010, because I will announce EILiS 0.1 version. I'm following these steps:
The mascot, probably, an ocelot (jaguatirica in Brazil). This animal is fast, beautiful and very smart.
My monster pedal
Hi! I got some photos from my future pedal of efects. I'm doing a true monster with 4 classical pedals. Two GT2 Samsamp (clone of an amp simulation), one LPB-1 Electro Harmonix (clone of booster) and a LPB-1 Electro Harmonix (clone of booster) with other transistor (changed) that give a little distortion (like a light blues song).

The event was a successful! We had around 250 (two hundred and fifty) people, the major was students from Ceará state. Students from Redenção, Pacajús, Itapipoca and São Gonçalo participated along the day. The event place was in “Vila das Artes” on Fortaleza's downtown. The complete address is:

→ The talk approach about Linux installation and was showed the Ubuntu installation process in real time with VirtualBox. I showed some screenshots of others distribution such as Debian 5.0 “Lenny”, openSuse 11.2 and Fedora 12. The partition process was approached step by step, because this is the main doubt point.
Talk 2 – Sharing knowledge with video lessons
→ Sharing knowledge with video lessons, was a great talk. Many people were with doubt about the process, because don't know which softwares we can use. The distribution approached to make video lessons was Ubuntu 9.10 and some softwares like Gtk-RecordMyDesktop, Mencoder, Mplayer and Avidemux. The talk was based with some video lessons from Rafael Farias Youtube Channel (www.youtube.com/engemecpontocom).
Sharing 3G and Wi-Fi connection!
Hi! I did a little script that permit to share own 3G or WiFi connection. You can get the script on:
NOTE: You need to be a root! ;) and run on /root paste. The squid.conf file is using port 3128, not transparent proxy. Maybe, you need to change some configurations, but is very easy to understand! My next step is EILiS (Easy Intall Linux Servers). Hope for news in PROJECTS menu botton.
Flisol 2010
Next 26 April 2010, many cities from latin america will celebrate FLISOL (Larin-america Festival of Free Software Installation). You can read more on www.flisol.net (oficial). I will participate with distributing CDs from Ubuntu (and derivates) and with two talks:
1ª - Installing Linux. ----> I'll show Ubuntu installation using a virtual machine (VirtualBox) and screenshots of other Linux (Mandriva, OpenSuse, Fedora and Debian). I want to show that's very easy the installation process of Linux.
2ª - Sharing knowledge with video lessons. ----> This talk will show how you can make videos and share with friends, youtube, family or make a course. I'll show the process to you create video lessons.
